This post is really focused for future students who wish to study in Argentina!
The term "night life" here should really be called morning life. The bars on average open at 11pm and the boliches (clubs) do not open until 1am; however, people do not really show up until 2am. The "night life" is active from 2am - 6am. It is common here to not leave the house until midnight and not return until 6am. On the weekends before going out, I always have to take a nap! Otherwise, I do not make it to 6 in the morning.
Another note to add: drinks are made to share here! Split drinks with friends! Their solo cups are about double the size of the solo cups in the USA.
I highly recommend el boliche Studio Teatro. It is located in Centro Cordoba right next to the Plaza de San Martin. The often have live bands start the show, which is great! Also, they also have "international student nights", in which international students get in free of charge!
The social life is huge here in Argentina; but it is definitely more of a morning than a night life. Either way if you study here, enjoy the "night life" you will make amazing memories & lasting friendships!
